“Imprint Fairs, Imprint Results”
We made our first fair visit in 1995.
Our first fair participation experience was in 1997. We participated in the first fair organization in 2006. Until now, we had the chance to travel to many countries from Asia to Europe as either participants or visitors of dozens of fairs.
We suddenly became one of the sales representatives of a fair held in Germany, which we dreamed of being a participant and opening a stand, with an offer we received through references. We were one of the sales representatives of some fairs held in Germany, Spain, Italy and India between 2007 -2011 -2015. We could now go to fairs both as participants and representatives.
By sitting on both sides of the table, we could see the pros and cons of the fairs we participated in, and we knew the companies’ expectations and demands from the fairs. On the other hand, how to organize a fair with the fairs we represent? We were learning this in the best way from the world’s most successful fair organizers.
When we come to 2014, why don’t we organize fairs anymore? We started to ask ourselves the question. In order to be successful, it was necessary to first experience domestically.
We prepared our first project on commercial taxis and transportation alternatives, which have never been organized in our country, and we organized the TAXIWORLD TURKEY fair by collaborating with one of the successful fair organizers of our country.
It was like a dream for us and we were happy to organize a fair that was not organized in our country under the name of another organizing organization, even in partnership.
It was time to organize a fair on our own behalf, rather than constantly participating in other fairs, being a sales representative and carrying out your project under the name of another organizer. Our experience, our knowledge, our effectiveness in the field, and above all, the sectors we were in had full confidence in us. We had a strong reference.
When we come to 2016, Izgi Fair Organization Ltd. with the slogan “FAIRS THAT LEAVE A MARK, RESULTS THAT LEAVE A MARK”. Ltd. We decided to establish the company.
We did a long research and saw that, unlike in Europe, fair organizing in our country is concentrated in Istanbul, Anatolian fair organizing is forgotten, and Anatolian cities do not get the share they deserve from fair organizing.
We should organize a fair in such a city that it should be close to the Central Anatolia, Aegean and Mediterranean basins and be a bridge to the East and Southeast. In addition to being an exporter with a high fair culture, investments had to be continuous. For us, Denizli was the city that met all the criteria with its investments, production in different sectors, exports and economic structure.
In 2017, with the opinions and suggestions as well as the support of the Textile Machinery Industry, in which we have been involved for many years, we held the 1st EGE TMF – Aegean Textile, Garment Machinery, Textile Printing Technologies Fair with the participation of 11 direct foreign companies from 7 countries, a total of 107 companies.
Our fair, which was held successfully with the support of NGOs and companies in Denizli, opened its doors 4 times, in 2019, 2021 and 2023. In addition to being the largest fair of the Eurasia Region during the years it was held in the Textile Machinery sector, it became the first international fair of Denizli.
Considering Denizli’s economic structure and investments, we managed to organize one of the largest real estate fairs in our country in 2018 and 2019. DEYEF – Denizli Real Estate and Construction Industry Fair, which we organized twice with the slogan “THE HOME YOU DREAM, EVERYTHING YOU DREAM FOR YOUR HOME”, has set an example in our country with its content and concept. The economic developments in the housing sector, the pandemic, and the earthquakes centered in Kahramanmaraş had a negative impact on the fair and the fair could not carry itself to the next years. It will be rearranged as the sector recovers.
As Izgi Fuarcılık, we tried to be researcher, innovative and at the same time perfectionist. While meeting the demands and expectations of our participating companies and organizing a fair that is not tiring but easy and groundbreaking was a priority for us, the maximum benefit that the visitors gained from the fair was the determining factor in carrying our fairs into the future.
In 2021, we opened the doors of the first fair in the world after the pandemic. We organized Turkey’s first domestic and national machinery technologies fair, consisting of 90% national production and 100% domestic textile machinery. Billions of lira of trade took place in our fair, which provided lifeline to our companies. We have shown that a fair can be held in a closed area under the shadow of the pandemic, if precautions are taken, and that the phrase “We are enough for us” is true. Aegean TMF Denizli fair had become the most talked about topic in the industry both at home and abroad.
Izgi Fair Organization had now ignited the fuse of Anatolian fair organization. Perhaps Denizli found itself among the top 3 cities in our country with the income it earned from the fairs we organized. While new cooperation offers were coming from other cities, we were faced with partnership offers.
In 2021, İZFAŞ A.Ş. We made our first collaboration with. We signed the agreement for the FASHIONTECH İZMİR Fair for our textile and ready-made clothing sectors, one of the strongest sectors of İzmir and the Aegean Region, and organized another fair visited by thousands of local and foreign people in a short period of 3 months.
While the success of the fair enabled it to be held for the 2nd time in 2022, it was decided to organize it every 2 years, taking into account the current situation of the sector, technological developments, the opinions and suggestions of participating companies as well as sector companies. The 3rd FASHIONTECH İZMİR, which will be held in partnership with İzgi Fuarcılık and İzfaş, has been organized as Europe’s largest Ready-made Clothing and Apparel Machinery Fair in 2024 with a record participation.
The success achieved at the FASHIONTECH Fair further strengthened the cooperation and partnership of İzgi Fuarcılık and İzfaş and enabled the formation of IMATECH İZMİR Fair in 2023, where Machinery Production Technologies are exhibited. The fair, which opened its doors for the second time with 100% growth in 2024, is rapidly running towards its 300% growth target in 2025.
Concentrating on the machinery and textile and ready-made clothing sectors, İzgi Fuarcılık and İzfaş decided to organize the FASHION HOME – İzmir Hometextile Fair together. The fair, which will open its doors for the first time between 9-11 October 2024, has already managed to bring together the leaders of the sector at Fuar Izmir.
As of today, the unchangeable slogan of web pages and catalogs, “Reliable and high-quality” service, has become the biggest reference for Izgi Fuarcılık in the sectors where it organizes fairs.
Izgi Fuarcılık, which has become one of the most important brands of our country in the international arena in the fair industry, aims to increase the share of Anatolia and our country in fair organization with new collaborations and partnership models.
